Clinton and I finished the raised beds at last! We put all the stone slabs to the side. I was just going to pour dirt on the ground, plop the stones into place and add Irish Moss. Clinton, of course, wanted to grid the area off to make sure that whatever we laid down was level. I was annoyed at first, but I knew he was right. I'd regret it later if we didn't do this.
18 cubic feet of dirt later, and we had ourselves level ground. Our friend Tom, a truck driver who was staying with us while he was in town, helped me lay down the stones. Then Clinton and I put in the Irish Moss. It looks great. It's going to look even better once we've put fruits and veggies in the raised beds and all the moss has grown in.
