We have one hive (by "we" I mean Clinton) behind the house. We decided they needed a cool, roller-derby team name for them: The Royal Rebels. They've been giving us some delicious honey, and Clinton's been talking about starting another hive. Today, when we both got home, we found a swarm in one of the trees. Clinton slipped on his bee suit and got to work. He was able to move a bunch of them into a fresh hive, but a lot stayed behind in the tree. There's some comb and honey in the box, so hopefully they'll decide it's a better place to stay than the tree. We'll know in a few days if they've decided to make their home in the new box.
